In no usual dance music line-up, Ausseerland Blos plays with just one flugelhorn, two bass trumpets, Styrian accordion, guitar and bass violin. Behind this are thoroughbred musicians, “younger and older boys,” as they describe themselves, who celebrate “dance music” with real passion. Tailored for the distinctive instrumentation, pieces of music have also been arranged by themselves for the last two years, traditional and other: variety is guaranteed anyway!

Variety meets consistency on this evening, as the Kirchenwirt has existed at the foot of the Gosau Catholic Church since 1596. The charming family business in the heart of Gosau fulfills everything you might expect from a “village tavern”: an attraction and popular meeting place for locals and holidaymakers, comfort and warm hospitality, where good food is just a matter of course.
